Tessallation's(:

Here in Design art 7 we have been working on a unit called tessellation's. One of the projects we did was a tessellation square. A tessellation is a pattern that is repeated over and over again to make a design. Mrs. Bammi introduced us to a famous math/artist named M.C Escher. In his art he used his math skills for the accuracy in his tessellation's. So our project was that we had to make a tessellation on a folded square and then trace that tessellation onto all four sides of that square. We had to redo these steps until we had at least eight of these tessellation squares. After tracing the squares we had to color them each the same colors so that they then looked exactly the same. lastly we glued them all together so that it looked like it was big design together!
