The Scream

The Scream is a famous painting by Edvard Munch. We had to do a picture of something that mad us scream or something that made us feel sad. So we had to draw a picture that was emotional. We drew the picture on na normal piece of paper and then we retraced it onto styrafoam. Once the piece was trasfred to the foam we rolled bright color paints on them. Then rolled them onto a piece of papper and that's whats called a print.
We did this 3 or 4 times in different colors.

If i got a chance to do this project again then i wouldn't do differet prints i would paint it or color it in makers. I would also do a different emotion not a sad, scared or angry emotion.

Upside Down

This is a prject we did upside down. The object of the activity was not to try to draw what you thought but it was but to draw the lines. We drew it upside down because that way we wouldn't try to make it look like "fingers" or make it look like "a head". If you follwed the lines as just lines then yoou would end up wit a good looking man! But if you started to try to draw to make it look like a man then it would end up looking nothing like a man!

My class did thisd last year so i already knew what it was, so I think that i was trying to make it look like a man, and not try to just draw the lines!
In the end we turned our paintings around and everyone was so shocked! We colored the backround but not the man to give it a little effect!

Painting to Reel around the sun

In Visual Exploration we did a project as i already told you, we painted to Music. The music we painted to was called Reel around the sun. We listened to the beat on the music and painted to the music. when it was slow we drew slow a curvy lines and when it was fast we drew straight and jagged lines. After all the lines were finished we listened to the song again and added the colors.

And then we had our painting! What we were trying to do was make our painting as much movment as posible!
